A one-day talk on ‘Communication Skills’ was held in the Tele-conferencing hall of NIT Nagaland on August 30 which was attended by students of third and final year of the institute. The talks were delivered by Dr Anindya Syam Choudhury on “effective communication in English,” “the essential elements” and “improving pronunciation skills in English.” Dr Saugata Kumar Nath delivered on “the English language,” “current manifestations” and ‘the importance of grammar and vocabulary in communication.” Both the guest speakers are teachers from the Department of English, Assam University, Silchar. A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd (NStCB) and Sao Chang College (SCC), Tuensang was signed on September 2. According to the MoU, NStCB shall lend to the employees of SCC for their personal needs; The SCC shall wholly or partially formulate their business transaction with NStCB Ltd. The Bank was represented by VK Disong, AGM and Sao Chang College was represented by Dr A Nshoga, Principal in the presence of College faculties.
