
Assam District, the Assemblies of God of East India held the Spirit Filled Life Conference at Don Bosco Institute for Development & Leadership, Dimapur from September 14 to 16. Rev. Timothy Rao, District Superintendent, Andhra Pradesh, Rev. Bradley Hunt, President, Cross Trek World ministries, USA and Rev. Richard Vanman was the speakers. A total of 150 participants from Assam District attended the Conference.

Wokha Town Ao Baptist Church Women Ministry visited Dr. Motsuo Memorial Hospital Wokha as part of the Mission Evangelism on September 29.

NCC Cadets JW/JD of St. Mary's Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Kohima inaugurated Swacchta Hi Sewa through cleanliness drive at Viswema on September 15. A release stated that altogether 80 cadets participated under the guidance of two Associate NCC officers, Khamkiumong L John of 24 Nagaland NCC (I) Coy Kohima and Margaret Chaya of 1NL Girls Bn NCC. The cadets were divided into four groups and sent to different khels. The Village Council and youth extended support and guidance to the drive.

The Wokha Town Ao Baptist Arogo Youth Ministry visited District-Jail Wokha Nagaland on under the theme ‘Grace of God’ as a part of their annual social service on September 12.

Modern College Kohima Alumni Association organized a one day seminar on career guidance for the degree students on the topic ‘The Power Plant for Career Success’ and ‘Re-Discovering your career passion.’ The resource persons were Riku Khutso, EAC (probationer), Manikho, Asstt Professor, Modern College, Laknyie, Advocate and Mukamchim, Information Assistant-IPR.

Mokokchung District Disabled Forum (MDDF) established under the initiative of Care & Support Society, Mokokchung and Grace Society, Changtongya held its Foundation Day programme at Care & Support Society office on September 21. The programme was attended by Disabled People’s Organization members of both the societies and it was graced by President of AKM, also an advisory board member of MDDPF.

MGM Higher Secondary School (MGMHSS) started Swachhta Hi Seva awareness programme on September 18 at the school ground. Students performed special programme based on the theme. Head Master B. Paul took special awareness class and motivated the students to participate wholeheartedly and bring changes in personal and community life. According to MGMHSS Media Cell the programme will continue till October 2, where a rally will be held by peace club members of MGMHSS and mass cleaning drive in Midland area.
