Kohima Institute in collaboration with Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC), St. John College organised a lecture cum workshop on Research Methodology on May 1 with Dr. Arkotong Longkumer, lecturer from University of Edinburgh as the speaker. Dr. Longkumer gave guidelines on conducting research work and delved into the methodology of presenting and writing research paper. Later in the afternoon, the faculty members of St. John College were given group research work to put into practice the lecture from earlier. [caption id="attachment_360805" align="aligncenter" width="709"] The Village Council Mhainamtsi unveiled the 8th Martyred Memorial Stone on May 4 in honour and remembrance of “the heroes of Mhainamtsi village who have sacrifice and laid down their life for the greater cause of Lamhai land on May 4, 2000 while they were on the way to their paddy field and were ambushed and brutally killed and murdered by the force of the intruder from their sophisticated weapon.” The Village council Mhainamtsi, Chairman Miucham and Secretary Bakam in a press release stated that the Memorial Stone was unveiled by Haibamkwa, Chairman Lamhai council.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_360806" align="aligncenter" width="767"] NCS probationers along with officers and staff of ATI during the celebration of Moatsü festival held on May 2 at Multipurpose Hall, ATI Kohima.
