Nagaland reports 113 new  COVID cases, 117 recoveries

Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The number of people recovering from COVID-19 infection continued to surpass new cases in Nagaland as 117 recoveries were reported against 113 new cases on June 10. According to the daily bulletin issued by the health department’s Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), 51 persons recovered in Dimapur, 30 in Tuensang, 12 in Kohima, 7 in Phek, 6 in Kiphire, 5 in Wokha, 5 in Zunheboto and 1  in Mon.

The bulletin also informed that 47 of the new COVID-19 cases were reported from Mokokchung, 22 from Dimapur, 17 from Tuensang, 13 from Kohima, 5 from Phek, 4 from Mon, 2 from Wokha, 2 from Zunheboto and 1 from Kiphire. 

Meanwhile, the State also recorded 6 deaths on Thursday, which took the death tally to 427. Dimapur and Phek reported 2 deaths each, while Kohima and Mokokchung were one each.  The overall tally of infections in Nagaland rose to 23,350, out of which 3,877 are active cases and 18,378 are recovered cases. Altogether, 654 patients have migrated from the State.
