The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has informed that the Nagaland state 3x3 senior men and women basketball teams will compete in the 3rd 3x3 Senior National Basketball Championship for Men and Women to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai from September 22 to 24. The top 7 teams will qualify for the 37th National Games scheduled to be held at Goa. The competition is played in a round-robin format in the preliminary round followed by the knock-out phase. Thejangulie Mekro will lead the men's team and the women's team will be led by Reena Rai. The teams are scheduled to leave for Chennai on September 21.
