Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The Nagaland State Championship of 7-a-side football tournament is scheduled to be held from February 22 in Dimapur. Organized by the Naga United FC in collaboration with Northeast Sports Development Foundation and Spoedia, the tournament will be held on a knock out basis. Dr Roland Lotha, a social activist and Class 1 contractor will be the special invitee for the opening ceremony of the tournament. The state champion will represent Nagaland in the National Championship to be held during the month of April 2021. The organizers informed that they aim to assist the best and deserving players to go beyond Nagaland and have a promising career with the help of Northeast Sports Development Foundation and Spoedia.
