Kohima, December 12 (MExN): The 17th ATM Booth of the Bank was inaugurated at Chozuba Branch by Kekhwangule Lea, Vice Chairman of the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd on December 11.
The Vice Chairman in his inaugural address enlightened the leaders and people of Chozuba area that they are fortunate to have the branch of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank at Chozuba as the bank is catering to the techno banking needs of the people and also the credit requirements of Cooperative Societies, SHGs, JLGs and State Government employees. He said that the bank is installing ATM booth in Chazouba for financial ease and benefits of the people of the area.
He called upon the people to open accounts with the bank for saving their hard earned money and also to avail loan from the bank for their economic activities. He said recycling of fund is very important in bank and urge upon them for timely recovery of loans availed by them so that loans can be extended to all people of the area. He said that the bank ATM Booth installed belongs to the people of Chozuba area and they should take care as it is their property.
The inauguration programme was chaired by D. Sale, General Manager (ID) and invocation prayer was pronounced by Vesavo Shijoh, Pastor of Chozuba Baptist church with welcome address extended by Neilalie Chiero, Manager (ID).
In the key note address by D. Sale, GM (ID) inform that the Nagaland State Cooperative Bnak Ltd, is functioning all over the State with modern technology and extending financial help to all the people particularly to the marginal farmers and down trodden people of the state. He also called on the people to avail the benefits of banking through the Nagaland State Cooperative bank ltd. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Lhouveyi Lohe, Branch manager, Chozuba Branch.
Shifts Tuli, CTN branch office to own new building
The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd has also shifted its Tuli branch office to its own new building at Tuli Town and Inaugural function of the new building along with the ATM booth was held on December 8.
M Bendangnukshi Longkumer Board of Director, NStCB Ltd as the Chief Guest said in his inaugural speech that there are 21 (twenty one) branches of the bank in the state of Nagaland and it was the 6th branch building the bank has opportunity to run the branch in its own building. He appealed the public of Tuli Town and adjoining areas to have financial transaction and avail the facilities provided by the bank at par with the other Nationalized and Commercial banks.
Imtilemba Longkumer, Managing Director who presided over the function has also delivered the Keynote address where he has highlighted the activities of the bank and the different products of the bank.
Rev. C. Tongpang, Pastor Tuli Town Baptist Church said the invocation prayer and Ningsangwaba General Manager (Planning & Development) delivered the Welcome address while Gaithaorung Rongmei, Branch Manager of Tuli Branch pronounced the Vote of Thanks.
Earlier in the day the ATM booth in the new branch office building of Changtongya branch was inaugurated by Alangla Tonger, Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Mokokchung as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest appealed for cooperation from the public with the bank officials. Shifting of branch office and opening of ATM booth would benefit the public of the area she said and encourage the people to avail the facilities that are being provided by the bank.
Short speeches were also delivered by M. Bendangnukshi Longkumer, BOD NStCB Ltd, and I. Sowa Jamir Chairman GB Union Changtongya. The Managing Director of NStCB Ltd Imtilemba Longkumer chaired the meeting and delivered the welcome address. Ningsangwaba, GM (P&D) delivered the Key note address.
T. Aliba Imchen, Pastor, Changtongya Town Baptist Church said the invocation prayer while I. Lanuniken Branch Manager NStCB Ltd Changtongya branch pronounced the Vote of thanks and S.H.G Changtongya Village presented a special number. The programme was attended by DDM (NARARD) Mokokchung, distinguish Govt Officials, GBs from all Ward, Chairman Changtongya Town Council and Village Council Chairman under Changtongya Sub-Division.
