A Maruti 800 AC caught fire in Tuli what is suspected to be caused by ‘vehicle wiring short circuit.’
Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): A vehicle caught fire at 10th Mile, Tuli on February 11. The Maruti 800 AC burst into flames suspected to be caused by “vehicle wiring short circuit”, informed an update from the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Kohima.
The response team from Tuli fire station led by Duty Commander, ASI, Noklangsangba responded to the scene and douse the fire. There was no report of injury while property worth Rs 25000 approximately was lost in the inferno.
On February 10, a truck carrying household goods caught fire at Firing Range (Army Camp), Diphu Road, Dimapur. A team from Fire Station Dimapur (West) responded to the scene.
Property worth Rs 5 lakh approximately was lost and the response team was led by Duty Commander ASIK Hito Zhimo could salvage property worth Rs 15 lakh, stated an update from the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Kohima.
According to the update, the fire was caused by fault in the “live wire.” There was no casualty.
