Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): Nagaland State Unit of the Republican Party of India (Ambedkar) was formed on February 4 with Tuensang as its headquarters.
According to a press release received here on Sunday, the State Unit was formed under the guidance of Debashish Deb, General Secretary, North-East. The Republican Party of India (Ambedkar) is envisioned by Babasaheb Ambedkar with the party being presently led by Deepak Nikalje as the President and Dr Mohan Lal Patil as the General Secretary, it added.
State executives for the party include P Tingthang Konyak as President; Thungti Chang as Working President; Imlong Chang as General Secretary (Administration); and Mongko Chang as General Secretary (Organisation).
