DIMAPUR, APRIL 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Veterans Football Association has informed that they plan to conduct the Nagaland Veterans Inter-District Football Tournament this year. A press release from the association said that the tournament could not be held for the last few years due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We plan to conduct the tournament this year in the near future; hence, we request all district veterans’ football associations to start preparations for the same,” the press release stated. It further requested the new districts to immediately form the veteran’s football associations to participate in the tournament.
It informed that a meeting will be called shortly to discuss the ensuing tournament, representatives of where all district veterans will be inducted. Any district willing to host the ensuing tournament may also come prepared with their proposal, the association added.
