Student participants at Techmorphosis 3.0 held at Hope Academy, Chümoukedima on May 2.

Chümoukedima, May 3 (MExN): More than 277 participants from over 14 schools and colleges across Nagaland converged at Hope Academy, Chümoukedima on May 2 for Techmorphosis 3.0, a flagship annual technology and innovation event organized by Nagabots Tech Ventures Pvt Ltd.
The event was organised with Hope Academy as the Venue Partner and with the support of various organisations like StartUp Nagaland- Industries & Commerce Department, Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Centre – Planning Department, Department of IT&C, Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Matrix Enterprise – Authorised partner of ViewSonic, Appskilling, Print Impressions and Advanced GIIT.
Er Kedichol Khanyo, Event Head, Techmorphosis 3.0 in a press release stated that this year’s edition marked a major milestone for the state’s burgeoning tech community, hosting Nagaland’s first-ever Drone Race alongside a series of STEM-focused competitions including Robo Sumo, App Inventor & Scratch Programming, Capture the Flag, Coding Hackathon, Water Rocket Challenge, and Electronics & Arduino Robotics.

The event drew a crowd of nearly 2,000 visitors, combining the thrill of competition with a shared vision for a tech-driven future.
Watisenla Kichu chaired the inaugurals with the welcome address delivered by Sashizungla Ao, Principal of Hope Academy, followed by remarks from Er Kevin Khezhie, Director of Nagabots. P Tokugha Sema, Director of Industries & Commerce, inspired the young audience to embrace Industry 4.0 skill sets, while Mhathung Kithan, Sr Project Director of the Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Centre, emphasised the role of innovation in shaping tomorrow’s workforce.
Among the many highlights was a mesmerizing drone show, presented by the Remote Sensing Centre, which captivated both students and visitors.
Er Kedichol Khanyo, Event Head, praised the students for their enthusiasm and creativity, stating, “Techmorphosis is a platform for unleashing ideas, and we’re proud to see the youth of Nagaland stepping boldly into the future.”
