Dimapur, January 9 (MExN): Lauding the ongoing “unification” move to bring together all the Sumi underground workers “of Sumi region, the FGN claims that Nagas are ready to come together “under one banner by stopping bloodshed.”
“Nagas are now ready to come together under one banner by stopping bloodshed and self-destruction so that Nagas will live freely and truly as a free nation.” claimed “brig (retd)” S. Singnya, Kedahge of FGN in a note received here.
He also appreciates the ongoing unity move, saying, “The ongoing unification move initiated by the Sumi Hoho to bring together the national workers of Sumi region deserves sincere appreciation; this is a precedent to other region to come together in their respective families which will entail Naga unification”. He also lauded as “encouraging” the ENPO’s resolution supporting the unification of all Nagas regardless of ‘territorial demarcation.’ Singnya urged all that efforts towards this goal must be genuinely sincere and based on “solid foundation.” He also mentioned the independence declaration and plebiscite, and expressed confidence that Nagas “are now ready to come together under one banner…”
