A fashion event called ‘Nagas’ Walking Tall’ under the theme ‘Living your Dreams’ will be happening in Nagaland very soon.
The event is organised by Kenei Rhakho, former beauty queen who has flaunt many prestigious stage, well groomed by professional mentors in India, choreographed as well - coordinated with various beauty pageants. This show is aimed at promoting not just the established models and designers but those who have the talent to earn a professional livelihood from their works. Kenei says that Nagas have impressive high fashion sense but “our exposure to the rest of the country is very limited because of narrow platforms and opportunities.”
The organiser has invited local entrepreneurs to promote their products through the event in ways of models displaying them.
Viliho Chisho, a model former Beauty Queen & Actress and Rhymez Disguised, a well known Artist from the Hip-Hop Band "Still Rhyming" will coordinate the event along with Kenei.
