Nair appointed Loka Kerala Sabha member

Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): RK Nair, the present president of All India Malayali Association (AIMA) Nagaland and National Vice President of AIMA have been appointed as a member of the 2nd edition of the Loka Kerala Sabha (LKS) or World Kerala Assembly by the Government of Kerala.


A businessman and a social worker from Dimapur, Nair will be representing the Malayai Community of Nagaland in particular and Northeast region in general.


As per a press release from AIMA, Nagaland; World Kerala Assembly is constituted by the Kerala Government to bring Keralites living around the globe under one platform. It is hosted under the department of Non Resident Keralites (NORKA).


Nair, Advisor to Kerala Samajam Dimapur has been instrumental in its progress over the years and his present elevation to the LKA by the government Kerala is being hailed as recognition for his tireless and selfless works among the Malayali community and other social circles in Dimapur, said the release. The present appointment is for two years. The second full session of the LKS will be held at the Kerala Legislative Assembly complex, Thiruvananthapuram from January 1 to 3, 2020.
