National Bravery Award for Mizo boy

Aizawl, December 19 (NNN): A 17-year-old boy from Mizoram has been chosen for National Bravery Award for his courageous action. F Lalchhandama, a resident of Tuikual south locality of Aizawl would be posthumously awarded the National Bravery Award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi in January next year. F Lalchhandama lost his life while attempting to rescue his friends drowned in Tlawng river. On May 7, 2017, F Lalchhandama along with his two friends went to Tlawng river after appearing for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) at Pachhunga University College. The two friends fell in the river while playing nearby. Unfortunately, F Lalchhandama died while trying to save his friends.
