Thanghilmang Lunkim, from Nagaland was among 25 children from different parts India who were presented the Indian Council for Child Welfare’s (ICCW) National Bravery Awards by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on January 23. Lunkim, a class 6 student, had saved the life of another student after the latter had fallen into a river while crossing the Mezoma Bridge on September 15, 2015.
