The National Handloom Expo is underway in Kohima at Gorkha Panchayat Public Ground, Chandmari, opposite Government Printing Press. It was formally inaugurated on March 22 by N. Hushili Sema (IAS), commissioner & secretary, Industries & Commerce, Nagaland. This Expo, organized by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, Dimapur (a Government of Nagaland Undertaking) and sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, New Delhi, will go on till April 4.
