NBCC asks TNL to revoke decision

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): The Tangkhul Naga Long has been asked to revoke its decision in excommunicating Rev Dr Tuisem Shishak by none other but a “greatly disturbed” Nagaland Baptist Church Council. “There is no space to mention all the serious implication your decision will cause, but revocation of your resolution can be the solution to put at rest again the disturbing minds,” Reverend Kari Longchar, peace affairs director of the NBCC said in a letter addressed to the Long’s president, Stephen Ankang.  “We strongly endorse the honest sharing of Tuisem because all the tribes need to do the same, as every tribe has mistakes to admit, to create a peaceful atmosphere of social relationship to accept one another, reason and work together. We consider your resolution a great setback and hindrance to the exercises of the Church’s endeavour on healing and reconciliation and also the Indo-Naga Peace Talk.”
