Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) will conduct a three-day Selection Trial for the Under-16 and Under-19 team probables from September 3 to 5 at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima, Dimapur. A press release from the association in this regard has informed all the district cricket associations in the state to send at least five players in each group with a forwarding letter. All players recommended by the district cricket associations are to report at the NCA Stadium, Sovima at 8 a.m. on September 3 with the forwarding letter and with their own personal cricket kits. Under-16 players should be born on or after 1-9-2001 and should also bring their original Birth Certificate and school ID Card with them. The Under-19 players are to bring their original Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card and Matric Admit Card and should be born on or after 1-9-1998. The NCA shall provide food, lodging and return bus fare for the players who are recommended by the district associations and have the correct documents. The selected probable would undergo an age verification test under an Observer appointed by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI). Only those players who pass the bone test for age verification as per the BCCI norms shall be further called for a coaching camp for the selection of the state U-16 and U-19 team for the session, 2017-18. All registered eligible players of U-16 and U-19 of the last session 2016-2017 are to report directly for the trails.
