Dimapur, December 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) announced a 20-man squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament scheduled for early next month.
According to the team list released by the NCA, Jonathan Rongsen has been named as the skipper of the Nagaland team while Hokaito Zhimomi will be the team’s Vice Captain.
Stuart Binny, Shrikant Mundhe and Chetan Bisht were named as the professional guest players in the Nagaland team.
The team also includes Sedezhalie Rupreo, Hem Bahadur Chetri, Joshua Ben Ozukum, Akavi Yeptho, Wahid Ali, Imliwati Lemtur, Tahmeed Rahman, Nagaho Chishi, Hopongkyu Sangtam, Khrievitso Kense and Merenka Jamir.
In the standby list, Nzanthung Y Mozhui, Moakumzuk Tzudir, Jalal Uddin Lashkar and Mughavi Wotsa were named by the NCA.
The Nagaland Senior Men’s team manager is Toika K Awomi while Kawaljeet Singh is the team coach.
The Nagaland team matches are scheduled from January 11 to 19 and all the matches will be played in Chennai, according to a press release from the NCA Hon Secretary Hyunilo Anilo Khing.
