DIMAPUR, JULY 26 (MExN): Approximately 400 NCC cadets witnessed a weapons display organized by the 32 Assam Rifles as part of an annual training camp of 24 Nagaland (Indep) Company NCC under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, Kohima at Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
A press release informed that the cadets were acquainted with small arms and heavy Battalion Support Weapons. The cadets learnt about various weapon systems which a battalion uses in its operations during war and counter insurgency.
After the weapons display, the 32 Assam Rifles organized a band display. The band contingent showed various formations while playing the band. The NCC Cadets were also taken to the aviation base inside Rangaphar, where they got the opportunity to see a helicopter from a close range taking off and landing.
