NDPP 10th Northern Angami-1 A/C office inaugurated

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 10th Northern Angami-1 A/C office was inaugurated today at Kruoliezou, L Khel Kohima village along Billy Graham Road.
Speaking on the occasion, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak lauded the efforts of the Constituency people and also the party candidate of 2018 Assembly election, Dr Kekhrie Yhome for opening such office.
He said, despite having lost the last elections, the party men and women in the constituency have remained strong.
He asked them to stay stronger and work harder so that the party candidate come victorious in the next elections.
Expressing that unless the Constituency emerges strong, the party in general cannot be strong, he added, “Maintain unity and cohesion among the party organization.”
Affirming that Nagaland needs a stable government to move towards development and progress, Konyak said “stable and strong government will be good for the general public of the State. NDPP is here to bring change and provide stable government for overall development of the state.”
Further dwelling on Naga political issue, Chingwang said the Naga national groups are in dialogue with the Government of India for solution of the decades old problem and NDPP is playing as a facilitator.
Stating that permanent solution will bring about lasting peace for Nagas to move ahead and also open up avenues for the young aspiring Nagas, he said that it will also open doors for investors from beyond the state and abroad to come in and open up employment avenues for the Nagas in private sectors.
NDPP working president Nyemnyei Konyak and NDPP ex-candidates Kevisekho Kruse and Dr Kekhrie Yhome also exhorted the gathering.
The programme was chaired by NDPP 10-Northern Angami-1 A/C acting president Neitsu Khezhie.
Later, Neitsu Khezhie requested Konyak to expedite the petition which was submitted by NDPP 10-Northern Angami-1 A/C to the chief minister for granting any political post to Dr Kekhrie Yhome.
