NDPP candidate appeals contractors to resume work

Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): In view of the onset of working season, NDPP 2 Dimapur II AC has requested all the contractors to resume the ongoing construction without delay. Supu Jamir, NDPP candidate, Dimapur II in a press release stated that “delay will invite many unwanted situations both for general public as well as for the contractors. The contractors should not only focus on profits but they should always bear in mind that they are the builder of Nation/State.” In their absence there will be no development, Jamir maintained, adding that the role played by the contractors are “vital and when vital role player makes mistake it will be disastrous,” it added. He appealed the contractors to maintain the workmanship under any circumstances to avoid substandard constructions. Jamir further said that the special package exercised by the PDA Government, particularly for the state capital Kohima and commercial capital Dimapur may not come in the near future, and urged all to take this as a “golden opportunity.”
