NDPP on 13th NLA resolution

Kohima, February 21 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on Sunday conveyed its appreciation and congratulated members of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) for having unanimously passed the 7-point resolution on the Indo-Naga Political Issue urging all Naga National groups to come together as one to bring about ‘one solution for one people’.

“This speaks volumes on the commitment of our people’s representatives who have risen above party politics in the greater interest of the people,” the NDPP stated.

The party further appealed to all the members of the NLA to continue to stand united in pursuing for an early settlement to the Naga political issue and at the same time, ensure that the resolution passed in the recently concluded session is taken up in letter and spirit.

The NDPP also congratulated the Chief Minister and the PDA government for having successfully passed the State budget 2021-22 on February 19, and termed it ‘visionary and path breaking’. The budget indicates that the government is constantly strategizing on new ideas and policies to usher in a new era of economic growth and employment generation, it said.

The NDPP also appreciated NLA Speaker Sharingain Longkumer for having successfully concluded the 7th Session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
