DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has congratulated the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on successfully completing nine years of governing the country.
“The NDA under the leadership of the Prime Minister have, over the last nine years, managed to take India into the Global forum in a big way with the leading nations of the world acknowledging India’s entry into the top economies of the world at number five. This speaks volumes of the leadership that is steering the nation towards becoming a first world nation,” a press statement issued by NDPP media and communication committee stated.
The NDPP said it is proud to be an alliance partner of the NDA at a time when the alliance completes 25 years of existence. Having an alliance for twenty five years only goes on to signify the strong trust and bond amongst the alliance partners and also shows that this partnership will continue to help lead the Nation by providing a strong foundation and stability, it added.
Also stating that it was humbled by the honor and respect accorded to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio during the recently held meeting of the NDA partners, the NDPP said the NDA leadership acknowledging his contribution is further strengthening the alliance and goes on to show that “our leader is now indeed a national figure.”
The NDPP also thanked the people of Nagaland for their continued support over the last five and a half years of the PDA Government.
