Dimapur, December 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Kung-Fu Association organized a three day North East Kung-Fu Belt and Grading Award cum Workshop from December 27 to 29 at SAI, STC Dimapur. Out of 40 aspirants, 8 persons qualified for the Black Belt and 7 persons qualified for Dan Grading. Atoka Yepthomi and Javed Ali from Nagaland qualified for the Black Belt, ANKFA President N Mar Longkumer and General Secretary S Yanger Sangtam informed in a press release on December 30. GGM Sifu Zhenito Awomi, Chairman Technical Board AIKF, GM Sifu Rajkumar and Sifu Amar Singh gave away the belts and certificates to the qualified participants. During the workshop, resource person GGM Sifu Zhenito Awomi highlighted the importance of gaining the ability of self defense and also stressed on the need for self discipline and physical fitness.
