NEC observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2021

The North Eastern Council (NEC) has kick-started observing the Vigilance Awareness Week 2021 from today. The week on the theme “Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity” will conclude on November 1.

Today’s programme was marked by the integrity pledge administered by Air Marshal (Retd.) AK Gogoi, Member, NEC upon Officers and Staff of NEC at the Auditorium of NEC, Shillong.

A workshop on the theme “Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity” was inaugurated with the introductory speech of Chief Vigilance Officer of NEC Sherry Lalthangzo. This was followed by speeches on different issues pertaining to Vigilance by Adviser (T&C), NEC, Navin Kumar followed by Financial Adviser, NEC, G Panmei and by Planning Adviser, NEC, CH Kharshiing.

The workshop for the day concluded with the speech of the Air Marshal (Retd.) A. K. Gogoi, Member, NEC followed by questions and answers session on different topics related to Vigilance by officers and staff of NEC.

The weeklong programme will consist of the quiz competition, essay writing competition, talk competition and poster making competition etc. The staff & officials of NEC are taking active participation.
