Kohima, September 1 (MExN):117 school students from Thanamir, Salomi, Penkim and Fakim villages, Kiphire district participated in a series of educational event on environment and climate change conducted by the North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA) from August 22- 26.
The event focused on orienting the students how they can contribute in mitigating climate change and their role as guardians of our environment for the next generation. The students participated in a poster making competition after which the posters were put up in the village. The event was supported by the Tata Trusts.
