Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), home department will be conducting a Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEX) on August 30 all over the state. In this regard a press/media briefing will be conducted on August 29 in the Secretariat Conference Hall at 1:30 pm.
Dimapur: The Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) will be held in some indentified offices, institutions and locations in Dimapur on August 30 as a “preparatory exercise in the wake of any disaster in the district.” Some areas indentified in Dimapur includes Don Bosco School; Nikos Hospital; Hongkong Market area; Vishal Mart; Marwari Patti; Office include- DC; CMO; DAO; PHED, supply colony; Geology & Mining; NST (central workshop); Taxes commissioner. Kohima: Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Rajesh Soundararajan IAS has issue a circular informing all the members that there will be a table top exercise on August 29 in Deputy Commissioner, conference hall, Kohima at 11:00 am with regard to the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx). In this regard DC Kohima has requested all members concerned to attend the programme without fail.
Zunheboto: EAC, Zunheboto, Wiridin has informed all members that NSDMA is conducting a state wide mega mock exercise NEPEx on August 29 and 30 to test the government preparedness to respond and manage any mega impending disaster. In this regard all members of Zunheboto District Disaster Management Authority(ZDDMA) to participate in the table top exercise to be held on August 29, 11:00 am at DC's Conference Hall.
