NESO agitation affects NEHU exams

The proposed agitation called by the North East Students’ Organization (NESO) over the contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) has forced the North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) to reschedule its exams that were due to be held on Tuesday, December 10.

 

According to a notification by the controller of examinations, NEHU, the exams to the department of BEd and LLB, scheduled for December 10 will now be held on December 17 (BEd) and December 21 for LLB.

 

The postponement was confirmed by the VC of the NEHU – Tura campus, G Singhaih, who added that the postponement was necessary given the agitation of December 10.
