‘Network services in Jalukie nowhere near effective’

JSUN urges service providers to take immediate action

Peren, June 11 (MExN): With the transition of the conventional classroom teaching to the online mode of learning, students in Jalukie have been facing many inconveniences due to network inconsistency and poor internet connectivity.

Highlighting the issue of poor network connectivity, the Jalukie Students Union Nagaland (JSUN) on June 11 stated that at a time when a stable network with fast internet connectivity is a requirement for the students and teachers alike to keep up with their prescribed syllabi, the network provided is “nowhere near effective.”

The inability to download study materials, attend online classes, and failing to appear online exams has created a degree of inconvenience for the students both academically and mentally, the Union noted. In this regard, it has urged the concerned authorities of Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio to address the issue with immediate effect.
