The newly created Chümoukedima district is set to get a new Police Station. Nagaland DGP, T John Longkumer made the disclosure at Sovima village during the inaugural programme of the Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence on January 27. According to the DGP, the new Police Station will be situated in Sovima. He said that the opening of the new Police Station has received the Chief Minister’s approval and it should be up and running by the next financial year.
