Shehoto Yesca elected Gen Secy of NNC/GDRN
Dimapur, January 2 (MExN): Shehoto I Yesca was today unanimously elected as the General Secretary of the NNC/GDRN (Non-Accord). The election was made during a special emergency cabinet meeting of the NNC/GDRN (Non-Accord) on January 2 at Oking, a press release from Shilu Ao, Kilo Kilonser informed.
NSN Lotha appointed State Convenor of JDU
Dimapur, January 2 (MExN): NSN (Senchumo) Lotha has been appointed as the State Convenor of the Nagaland Janata Dal (United) by National JDU President Nitish Kumar. A former President of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), NSN Lotha has been active in Nagaland politics for many years now. He also served as Secretary General of the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) and represented in the 17th Session of the United Nations working group held in Geneva in 1999. “JDU hopes that his appointment as Convenor in Nagaland will strengthen and expand the organisation in the state,” a press release from the JDU stated.
