Shahoto repaired the LHEP road between Zingki Bridge and New Vongti on March 6. The Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) in a press release informed that PSTTU also voluntarily repaired Likhimro Bridge between Longkhimvong and Mimi on March 13 and 14. The members contributed cash and materials for the said work. It may be mention that civil organizations including District Administration of Pungro have been regularly maintaining the road for several years without any assistance from the government, YTC added. CNTC condemns murder Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has condemned the murder of Lanunukshi Pongen, a resident of Imkonglenden colony, Dimapur. “Such brutal and horrific deeds happening in our land today is really unfortunate and should be condemned by all right thinking citizens,” stated CNTC in a statement. It conveyed condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed that God will give them strength to endure. CNTC also urged the authorities to book the culprits at the earliest.
