Now enroll for Aadhar card at DC Phek office Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): A biometric capturing enrollment facility for making Aadhaar card has been installed in the office of DC Phek. In this connection, Phek Deputy Commissioner Muroho Chotso, in a circular released to the media here, has informed to all officers in different administrative of circles of Phek District, to publicise the same widely to the public under their jurisdiction. For the time being however, only indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland are eligible to avail the facility as per the directive of the state government, the circular added.       KMC issues reminder on trade license Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council has once again reminded all Business establishment/ institutions within its jurisdiction that dateline for renewal of Trader License expires on March 31. All are informed to abide by this direction, failing which needful action as deemed appropriate would be initiated without any further notice,” KMC Administrator Kovi Meyase informed in a press note.     MCCI 's AGM on March 28 dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) will hold its annual general meeting for the year 2017 on March 28 at MMC Shopping Complex from 1PM onward. The customers and public are requested to bear with inconveniences caused, if any.     Dr. Longrineken appointed DAN Chairman Kohima, March 24 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland has appointed Dr. Longrineken, Member of Legislative Assembly, Nagaland as Chairman of Development Authority Nagaland (DAN), Dimapur with immediate effect.     PSTTU repairs road and bridge Tuensang, March 24 (MExN): The Pungro Sub-division Timber Traders’ Union (PSTTU) under the leadership of its president J.B. Shahoto repaired the LHEP road between Zingki Bridge and New Vongti on March 6. The Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) in a press release informed that PSTTU also voluntarily repaired Likhimro Bridge between Longkhimvong and Mimi on March 13 and 14. The members contributed cash and materials for the said work. It may be mention that civil organizations including District Administration of Pungro have been regularly maintaining the road for several years without any assistance from the government, YTC added.     CNTC condemns murder Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has condemned the murder of Lanunukshi Pongen, a resident of Imkonglenden colony, Dimapur. “Such brutal and horrific deeds happening in our land today is really unfortunate and should be condemned by all right thinking citizens,” stated CNTC in a statement. It conveyed condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed that God will give them strength to endure. CNTC also urged the authorities to book the culprits at the earliest.
