Mokokchung SDEO notifies

Mokokchung, January 19 (MExN): The Senior Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Mokokchung has notified all regular employees (except SSA teachers) under its establishment to report to the Sr. SDEO office personally on January 22 and 23 during office hours for undertaking to be signed with regard to fixation of pay under Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.  

School Education informs

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): All regular primary teachers serving under the Department of School Education are hereby informed to submit their educational documents along with original appointment orders, regularization orders and present place of posting to the department on or before January 25 to Elementary Section (Room No.44), for the purpose of preparing seniority list.  

Tax collector held

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): Dimapur Police on Thursday arrested one person for illegal collection of tax from truck drivers transporting local sand/bricks from Khushiabill village and recovered Rs. 4060 from his possession. The accused, identified as one Atovi Aye, 36, resident of Burma Camp in Dimapur, revealed that he collects Rs. 200 per vehicle for the NSCN (IM), NSCN (U) and FGN, a press release from the Dimapur Police PRO stated.  

NPF CEC emergency meeting

Kohima, January 19 (MExN): With the announcement of Election Schedule by the Election Commission of India, NPF President Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has convened an emergency meeting of the Central Executive Council on January 23, 11:00 am at the Central Office to review the preparedness for the election and also to discuss few urgent matters.  

Village wise VVPAT demo in Mon

Mon, January 19 (DIPR): VVPAT /EVM training for ROs under Mon District was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Mon on January 15. Functioning of VVPAT and hands-on training was imparted by Master trainer, Principal, ITI Mon, Alongse Sangtam. Village wise VVPAT demonstration began on January 17 and the whole of Mon district is expected to be covered by January 22. Banners, pamphlets and SVEEP related materials were also issued to all constituencies in the district through ROs for display.
