NFHRCC to meet Chief Minister and R&B Minister Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) held a joint meeting with all the Dimapur based tribal hohos at its office and resolved to meet the Chief Minister and the R&B Minister at the earliest with members from all the tribes. The committee will be also visiting the Doyang Bridge at Liphanyan near Governor’s Camp with representatives from all tribes on September 23. NFHRCC press information & Publicity Secretary Victor K Lotha in a press release said that the meeting was also attended by Lotha Lower Ranger Public Organisation (LLRPO) and Ralan Area Lotha Hoho (RALH). VCC of Old Beisumpui on Intanki landownership Peren, September 12 (MExN): Village Council Chairman of Old Beisumpui village, Peren has informed that all reference as landowner or for that matter ownership with regard to Intanki should be mentioned as Old Beisampui village. In a press release, the VCC, Irangtalakpe stated, “The signatory for the said land exchange should be made and entered with Old Beisampui Village Council, which is the undisputed fact.” It pointed out that “specification in all matters relating to issue of notification, record etc., in respect of ownership of Intanki is misunderstood or otherwise and often mentioned as Old Beisumpui Village etc.” Henceforth, the release added, “we shall not be held responsible for any repercussions that may arise out of misinformation or whatsoever, as has been misquoted often.” NSCN (IM) officials support Framework Agreement Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): A total of 28 NSCN (IM) officials present in the meeting with Kilo Kilonser on September 8 have appended their signatures in full support of the ‘Framework Agreement’ of August 3, 2015 as “landmark progress on the Indo-Naga peace process.” The signatories included caretakers/CAOs, EOs, POs, Presidents, etc. of the regions, sub-regions, CAAs, according to a press release from M.
