FICCI to address press conference today
Kohima, September 20 (MExN): Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner and officials of FICCI will address a press conference on September 21 at 11:00 am at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) Guest House (opposite Solidarity Park) in connection with the North East Connectivity Summit 2017 which is scheduled on September 22 and 23 at the NBCC Convention Centre. All media persons in Kohima have been invited to attend the press meet.
AHODs & HODs directed to attend NE Connectivity Summit
Kohima, September 20 (DIPR): The State Government is hosting the 4th North East Connectivity Summit 2017 in Kohima on September 22 and 23. Dignitaries including diplomats, industry leaders and foreign delegations will be attending the event. Chief Secretary, Nagaland, Pankaj Kumar, IAS has directed all AHODs & HODs to attend the two-day session (9:00 am onwards both days), especially the inaugural and valedictory sessions. Programme details will be available in the venue (NBCC Convention Centre). The officers have also been requested to participate in the plenary sessions.
SDEO Dimapur informs
Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): The Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO), Dimapur has informed all the teachers under SDEO Dimapur who were appointed overaged (entry into service after 30 years of age during the period from January 1, 1987 to November 15, 2007) to submit personally the following documents – appointment order along with matric admit card during office hour on or before September 25.
IPR becomes Nodal Dept for film
Kohima, September 20 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland has nominated Information and Public Relations Department as the Nodal Department for film and all related matters for the State of Nagaland. This notification was issued in accordance with Section 20(x) and (xi) of the Nagaland Rules of Executive Business, 2016 by the Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, P&AR Department, Angau I. AR apprehend NNC/FGN cadre
Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): Based on specific information regarding presence of an arms dealer, 32 Assam Rifles along with police representative launched an operation in Aoyimti village, Dimapur on September 18 and apprehended an individual along with one .22 mm pistol with magazine and two wireless sets. The apprehended individual has been identified as Aolen Chang (32) of NNC/ FGN, stated a press release from Assam Rifles. The apprehended person along with the recovered arms and items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it added.
