Five injured in truck accident in Phek
Kohima, October 29 (MExN): A truck carrying essential commodities met with an accident near Phek village on Saturday. The truck was coming from Dimapur to Phek. Five persons were injured and rushed to Phek Civil Hospital. The cause of the accident was not known at the time of filing this report.
Assam Rifles ex-servicemen rally
Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): 32 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 6 Sector Assam Rifles, HQ IGAR (N) is organizing an ex-servicemen rally cum medical camp at Kashiram Basti (Firing range), Dimapur on November 3 for ex-servicemen of Dimapur and Peren districts. The rally aims to address the grievances of Assam Rifles ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, Veer Bahadur, and Gallantry Award winners, informed a press release. All Assam Rifles ex-servicemen have been requested to contact the nearest battalion and company for their conveyance. The rally will begin at 9:00 am. The ex-servicemen were asked to bring their pension book, PPO number, bank passbook, and Aadhaar card.
