TR congratulates PM Modi, BJP President Amit Shah

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah for the spectacular victory of the BJP in the general elections of the legislative assemblies of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister said all members of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly during a meeting of the legislature party of the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) held on Monday have expressed their congratulations for the electoral victory. The chief minister also urged the Prime Minister to grant the people of Nagaland a similar sense of pride and satisfaction by helping resolve the long standing Naga political issue well before the next general elections to the 13th NLA for long term peace in the state and the region.  

DMC informs traders, businesses

Dimapur, December 18 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council has informed all the traders/ business establishments/ shopkeepers under its jurisdiction that the renewal of Trade Licence for the year 2018 will commence with immediate effect. A press release from the DMC Administrator Moa Sangtam in this regard directed all traders/ DMC Trade Licence holders to renew their respective licence on or before January 31, 2018 to avoid late fine.  

Children rally at Phek Town

Kohima, December 18 (MExN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) is all set to hold the 6th Children Rally at Phek Town Baptist Church from January 12 to 14, 2018. The main speakers of the rally will include: Rev. Dr. Chekroveyi Cho-o, Associate Professor Oriental Theological Seminary Dimapur, Thepuchuyi Khesoh, Pastor Phek Town Baptist Church, Edechoyi Rose, Director Christian Ministry CBCC, Chinehiilii Rhakho, Director Children & Education department CBCC and Dr. Botoholi Achumi, Secretary Christian Education & Communication Department NBCC. The three day long rally will be marked by Theme song competition, guitar ensemble, worship dance, solo, male voice, Bible storytelling, folk dance and indigenous duet, art and painting etc.
