No helicopter service on March 4
Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): The Nagaland State helicopter service will not be available for schedule as well as chartering on March 4 on account of technical maintenance. A press release from General Manager, Nagaland State Transport, Dimapur has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
Assam Rifles apprehend one
Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): Troops of 32 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 6 Sector AR apprehended one GPRN/NSCN cadre identified as Niyivi Zhimomi at Super Market on February 27. A press release from Assam Rifles informed that the cadre was found to be in possession of a .22mm Pistol (country made) along with magazine. The apprehended person along with the recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
Lotha Hoho postpones meeting in Dimapur
Wokha, March 2 (MExN): The Lotha Hoho has postponed the meeting scheduled for March 3, 4:00 pm at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur due to unavoidable circumstances till further notice. The decision was made during the joint meeting of Lotha Hoho with all its frontal organisations and senior citizens held on March 2 at LTC Hall in Wokha Town. The Lotha Hoho expressed its regrets for the inconvenience created and requested the Lotha general public for their cooperation.
Cooperative Societies under Kohima district informed
Kohima, March 2 (MExN): All the Chairmen and Secretaries of the Registered Primary Cooperative Societies under Kohima district have been informed to report to the Office of the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kohima for audit of their Cooperative Societies within one month from the date of release of this press statement. A press release from Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Kohima, Anthony N. Yhome, cautioned that defaulting societies will be liable to be liquidated/ cancelled without any further notice.
KTBL Revival Crusade from March 4
Kiphire, March 2 (MExN): Along with the rest of Baptist churches under United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimükhung (USBLA), Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro (KTBL) is organizing its first phase of “Revival Crusade” from March 4–6, 2016 under the theme “Moving forward with Christ”. Tsali, Pastor and Likhumla, Women Pastor, Chare Town Baptist Lithro will be the main speakers. On March 4, there will be only evening service which will start at 3:30 pm. Meanwhile, on the second and third day, there will be three services each day starting 9:00 am. A press release from KTBL informed that prayer warriors from KTBL will be the Councillors for the three-day revival crusade, while S. Chopongkyu, Pastor, KTBL will be the Camp Director. The KTBL has invited all the believers to come and attend the revival.
Kiphire DPDB meeting on March 5
Kiphire, March 2 (MExN): All members of Kiphire DPDB have been informed that the meeting for the month of March, 2016 will be held on March 5, 10:00 am. Therefore, all members have been asked to attend positively.
NPWD Officers Meet
Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The NPWD Officers Meet will be held on March 4 from 9:00 am onwards in the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima. The Chief Minister of Nagaland will grace the occasion as the chief guest. All officers from Junior Engineer level (including the officers of the Engineering Wings) have been requested to attend the Meet without fail.
NSF meeting venue changed
Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The venue of the NSF presidential council-cum-NSF senior joint meeting scheduled for March 3, 12:00 noon at Hotel Japfü, Kohima, has been changed to NSF conference hall here due to some unavoidable circumstances. Informing this in a press release, NSF Information & Publicity Secretary has requested all to attend the meeting without fail.

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The Unison Society will have its first general body meeting on March 6, 5.00 pm at Naga Hotel, Naga Hospital Colony, Kohima. St. Joseph’s College students meet Khekhaho Assumi
Kohima, March 2 (MExN): President of Philanthropic Association St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, K. Chumseli Anar, along with five members of the association met K Khekhaho Assumi, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Public Relations, on March 1 at the latter’s office. A press release informed that K. Khekhaho Assumi lauded the Association for the humanitarian task it undertakes. Citing the exemplary roles of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, the MLA urged the association to continue its noble task to serve humanity. He apprised the students of the vitality of hard work, sincerity and determination, and that there is no substitute to these values for success. He further added that life is but a voyage, where the captain has to be confident to reach the destination; one has to be confident in oneself, the release added.
Pughoboto SDPDB meeting rescheduled to March 7
Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): The meeting of Pughoboto SDPDB scheduled for March 9 has been rescheduled to March 7 (Monday) at Kitami village (Asukiqa area). Members requiring transportation have been asked to report to the office of the ADC Pughoboto at 8:30 am on March 7.
