NRE informs on solar and home lamp
Kohima, March 8 (MExN): Nagaland’s Department of New & Renewable Energy (NRE) has suspended giving solar lamp and home lamp to the people of the state for the time being due to want of fund. NRE Director Er. TS Angami said that there is huge demand for solar and home lamp from the people but it cannot be made available due to non-availability of fund. He said there are 15,000 applications lying with the department.
Passes for eleventh session of 12th NLA
Kohima, March 8 (MExN): In view of the eleventh session of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly to be held from March 15 to 19, car passes and official gallery passes will be issued from March 10 onwards as under: Ministers/Adviser (Cabinet Status)/ Parliamentary Secretaries and AHODs are to collect Car Passes and Gallery Passes from the Special Secretary (Home Department), Civil Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima; HODs/ Media are to collect Car Passes from Assembly Secretariat Reception Counter Gate No-I; MLAs/P.S./P.A. and other Department are directed to collect Car Passes from Reception Counter Gate No-II, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat. N. Benjamin Newmai, Commission & Secretary, NLA Kohima in a press release further informed that car passes and gallery passes may be collected in advance to avoid eleventh hour rush.
