All selected RMSA candidates informed
Kohima, April 9 (MExN): All the 111 RMSA phase 2 & 3 candidates who have already submitted the acceptance letter, but yet to get their appointment have been informed to be present on April 11 outside RMSA office, Kohima and participate in the indefinite agitation which began on April 8. Convener of the aggrieved candidates, Kim has informed that there will be a fine of Rs. 500 per day for those not participating in the agitation and 50% will be deducted from the first salary of those who do not come at all for the agitation.
NGPTA Peren Unit on April 12
Peren, April 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association, Peren unit has convened a meeting on April 12, 11:00 am at GB Hall, Peren Town. Therefore, all the Government Primary Schools under Peren district have been requested to send one or two teachers from each school for the same.
ANGPTA inform DEOs/SDEOs
Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): All DEOs/SDEOs have been informed not to deduct subscription fee/membership fee or any sort of collection from the members of All Nagaland Graduate Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA) in or on behalf of All Nagaland School (ANSTA) as the two bodies are separate entities. ANGPTA Central press and information secretary Imchanuchet Jamir has informed in a press release, “force collection of any from by any DDOs, the Association will be compelled to view very seriously.”
Body found at Railway Bazar
Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): A body of a non-Naga man (around 40 years of age) was found at Railway Bazar, Dimapur on April 8. A press release from PRO, Dimapur Police informed that the deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification. Claimant for the dead body or relatives and friends have been requested to contact Sub Urban Police Station, Officer-in-Charge.
DYO elects new office bearers
KOHIMA, APRIL 9 (MExN): The Dapfhütsumia Youth Organisation (DYO) elected its new team of office bearers for the tenure 2016-18 recently during a meeting at Government Primary School (GPS) office, D. Khel, Kohima village. Following are the new office bearers: President - Er Neisavotuo Sachü; Vice President – Rüülhoulie Kire; General Secretary – Kereivilie Kire; Treasurer – Neisakuolie Kire; Publicity Secretary – Keviso Keretsü; Women Co-ordinator – Keneizienuo Kire; Advisor – Mhalezolie Kire (ex-President). GHS Pughoboto gets aid from well-wishers
Pughoboto, April 9 (DIPR): Helping the government to impart quality education to their children, parents of the GHS Pughoboto, staff, well-wishers and some students generously contributed some Agri & allied products for sale during the two-day Pughoboto 4th Inter-departmental Badminton, which was held at Indoor Stadium on April 5 and 6. The sale proceeds will be utilised for minor renovation and repair of classroom windows etc. Most of the visitors in stall paid more than the actual price.

Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): Holy Cross School Dimapur 1994-95 Batch representatives have requested the batch mates to contact the batch representatives for further information and to re-connect once again for the very purpose to give back to the school as it celebrates Golden Jubilee on April 16 and Alumni get together on April 17. NNC/PGN urges
Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): The NNC/People's Government of Nagaland (NNC/PGN) has urged the citizens of Dimapur not to support illegal activities within their surrounding or colony, such as illegal sale of alcohol, intoxicating items, etc. It also urged to promote peace and harmony. A press release from MIP, NNC/PGN warned that the NNC/PGN shall punish those indulging in the illegal activities as per the yezahbo. The NNC/PGN prefers to see true citizens who wish to bring changes within our society, the release stated.
SNUNS condoles
Kohima, April 9 (MExN): South Nagas’ Union of Nagaland State (SNUNS) has expressed shock and sadness at the demise of Grinder Muivah on April 6 in New Delhi. Stating that his demise is a great loss for the Nagas, SNUNS president Lokho Choumai in a condolence message said Grinder’s immense contributions to Naga political settlement and Naga community’s welfare in every part of India will be ever remembered. SNUNS further prayed that the departed soul rest in peace. The Union also expressed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that God strengthen them to bear the grief.
Tening Mai Chakam Aruang informs
Tening, April 9 (DIPR): The Tening Mai Chakam Aruang will hold its annual session at Tening Village’s new council hall on April 15. Chairman TMCA, Rutmakbo has requested all the members of Chakam Mai Aruang to come with their constructive agendas for the union. The Chairman also stated that membership fee Rs 200/- will be collected per head during the session for the year 2016. New Election for the tenure of 2016 – 2018 will be held during the session. The organizing committee has requested all the Tening Mai Chakam Aruang members to come and share their views and encourage one another.
