MITE goes on educational trip
Kohima, April 10(MExN): Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE) undertook an educational field trip to Makhel on April 8. The faculty and the student-teachers of the institute were greeted by S. Adani, the tour guide of the day. He enlightened the student-teachers about the significance of the banyan tree and the origin of the Nagas, according to a press release received here. Meanwhile, the student-teachers interacted with the teachers of Don Bosco and Baptist English School, Shajouba. They got an insight of the assessment and evaluation process in both the schools, the release added.
Noklak SDPDB meet held
Noklak, April 10 (DIPR): SDBDP meeting for the month of April 2016 was held on April 5 in Noklak at ADC’s chamber under the chairmanship of EAC, Noklak, Thuniang. The meeting discussed agenda on opening of Government Primary School (GPS) at Nokhu Noking, newly recognized village, which was forwarded by SDEO Noklak and registration of Pangsha Area Public Welfare Society.
Khriezephe elects new village council and office bearers
Chumukedima, April 10 (MExN): The Khriezephe village under Chumukedima area has elected new village council and office bearers for the coming five years on April 2. Among the 14 village council members, the new office bearers are Chairman- KuteKapfo, Council Secretary- David Kapfo, VDB Secretary- Tepu Khieya. ‘Know your army’
Phek, April 10 (MExN): Under the aegis of Headquarter 5 Sector Assam Rifles, Chizami Coy of 9 Assam Rifles has conducted a lecture and demonstration on ‘Know your Army’ at Sacred Heart School. The same was attended by 12 teachers and 97 students.
New office bearers of KVC
Kohima, April 10 (MExN): Office bearers of the Kohima Village Council (KVC) for the tenure 2016-2020 have been selected as follows: Medoselhou Keretsü - Chairman, Khriezothie Chielie - Vice Chairman, Zeneizo Rutsa - Secretary, Viliethie Solo - Treasurer, Theja-o Sekhose - Press Secretary, Meselhoulie Rame - Property Secretary, and Neisakhotuo Mepfhuo and Zayiekietuo Kire as Joint Secretary. This was informed in a press note issued by Neivor Rutsa, Chairman, KVC, who stated that the new team was selected and approved on March 21.
