Ao Senden condemns, demands Mokokchung, September 18 (MExN): The Ao Senden has strongly condemned the inhuman killing of one of its senior citizen, late Tekachang, aged 77, of Mangmetong village, who it alleged was “brutally murdered” on September 11 at Longphayimsen village jurisdiction. Mourning the death, the Ao Senden demanded the concerned law enforcing agency to award befitting punishment as permissible by law to the arrested culprits. Yitachu visits Senayangba GHSS Mokokchung, September 18 (MExN): Minister for School Education & SCERT, Yitachu, paid a visit to Senayangba GHSS, Ungma, Mokokchung, on the evening of September 15 during which he inspected the nearly completed new administrative cum science block built under NEC scheme since 2014. He was accompanied by the Director of School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe. Yitachu took time to interact with the DEO, DDEO, SDEO Mokokchung and other officials who were present during the visit. He also interacted with members of the Ungma Village Council and the teaching staff of the school for over an hour during which many topics relating to education were discussed and grievances and requests addressed, a press release stated.
