National Workers’ Fasting & Prayer Day on Sept 24 Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches has reminded National Workers to participate in the Fasting and Prayer Day on September 24. A press release from the CNC appealed to all NSCN members to “repent and return to the Lord”. Calling for participation in the fasting service, the CNC urged the members to “confess” their sins and “consecrate” their lives to God “for a nobler cause”.     Special leave for Hindi teachers Dimapur, September 14 (MExN): All the government Hindi Teachers have been granted a special leave on September 26 and 27. The two-day leave has been granted to enable them to attend the State Level Hindi Diwas celebration to be held in Jalukie Town, informed a press notification from Additional Director (HOD), DoSE Wonthungo Tsopoe.     Notice to renew SARAIS registration Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): In accordance with SARAIS Act, 1867, all hotels/lodges/inn/resorts etc. are requested to renew their SARAIS registration. Renewal forms will be available from the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur. This was stated in a press release issued by Addl. Dy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur.     DC Kohima informs Kohima, September 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor, IAS has informed the Chairman, Kohima Village Council and the Chairman, Colony Panchayats to furnish a rough sketch map of their respective jurisdiction with house numbering pattern, roads, major footpaths, etc in the state capital on the matter of maintaining correct, accurate and proper addresses and directed them to submit to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on or before September 30.     Dimapur veterinary officer informs Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services will be observing World Artificial Insemination (A.I) Day on October 2. In this connection, the Dimapur chief veterinary officer Dr. Temsu Ozukum informed that the department will be synchronizing the oestrus of heifers and performing A.I for animals on that day. All interested dairy farmers of Dimapur district are requested to contact the office of the chief veterinary officer Dimapur.
