NCSU Phek Division condemns Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The Phek Division of Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) has vehemently condemned the alleged rape of a minor girl by one Surhoseyi (Kuvethi) Keyho, a resident of Bethany - I Colony, Phek Town during the second week of August. In a press note issued by its secretary Razou and finance secretary Vevolhu, the union appealed to the authorities concerned to charge-sheet the accused immediately so that he will be punished and penalized accordingly. The union will vehemently oppose granting of bail and also oppose any group or party appealing for bail, it added. PHQ junction to Upper Chandmari junction - one way road Kohima, October 8 (DIPR): The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Kohima has declared the following as one way road in addition to earlier notified areas or location: PHQ junction to Upper Chandmari junction (Chakhesang Revival Church) near NSF Martyr's park via Bethel Hospital will be one-way entry from PHQ junction and exit from NSF Martyr's Park. Entry from Upper Chandmari junction and exit from PHQ junction will be restricted. The notification also added that the regulation is adopted to ease the traffic congestion at PHQ junction in the interest of public, hence public were notified for strict compliance with immediate effect. The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, RTA Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor IAS informed that the notification has been issued in pursuance of the provisions under Sec.115 and Sec.116 of the motor Vehicles Act 1988 and Sec. 34 of the Indian police Act 1861.
