AR apprehend Tiwa Liberation Army cadre Tuensang, November 26 (MExN): 40 Assam Rifles apprehended Bidyut Amsong alias Sanjit Amsong alias Bipen Das, “Self-Styled Chairman”, Tiwa Liberation Army in Tuensang Town on November 24. A press release from Assam Rifles said large number of extortion notes, laptop and various SIM cards were recovered from the cadre. “The individual had masterminded the grenade blast at Jagi Road, Marigoan and grenade blast in Roha Chariali in Nowgaon on May 17, 2016,” the release alleged. The cadre was also involved in number of “anti-national activities” with police cases already registered against him in Assam, the AR said, further alleging he was actively involved in smuggling of weapons and explosives.     Free medical camp in Wokha Wokha, November 26 (DIPR): Three-day free medical camp will be organised at the Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital, Wokha in association with the Indian National Fellowship Centre, Mumbai, from November 28 to 30 from 9:00 am onward. The team of visiting doctors consists of three surgeons, one physician and one psychiatrist. All doctors of Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital will also be a part of the camp. The citizens of Wokha district have been requested to make use of the free medical camp to consult and get treated by accomplished set of doctors and surgeons.
