
Maligano, July 28 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) concluded the 71st Management Development Programme (MDP) for Senior Supervisors on July 25 at the Training Centre of Dibrugarh Workshop.
The programme is a flagship initiative aimed at building leadership competencies, enhancing managerial effectiveness and strengthening organizational values among senior supervisory staff.
SP Beck, SDGM & CVO/NFR, graced the closing ceremony as chief guest and distributed certificates of completion to all participants. In his address, he emphasized the critical role of supervisors in upholding safety, discipline and productivity at the grassroots level and highlighted the importance of aligning personal goals with the larger mission of Indian Railways.
The week-long programme featured a structured curriculum comprising lectures, group discussions and interactive sessions led by experienced officers from across NFR.
Key topics covered, included the role of vigilance in professional and personal spheres, effective time management for railway professionals, techniques for team motivation and interpersonal communication, and in-depth understanding of the vigilance system within Indian Railways. The sessions were designed to provide practical insights and tools to help supervisors perform their roles more effectively and responsibly. The programme also encouraged participants to share experiences and best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
