NF Railway to restore local train services for Meghalaya

Maligaon, September 1 (MExN): NF Railway will resume the services of two pair daily passenger special trains during September for the benefit of short distance travellers. One train will run from Guwahati to Mendipathar (Meghalaya) and another train will run from Guwahati to Mairabari. With this local train services for the people of Meghalaya would be restored.

Resumption of passenger train services: 
•    Services of Train No. 05020/05019 Guwahati – Mendipathar - Guwahati daily passenger special have been resumed leaving Guwahati from 10th September and leaving Mendipathar from September 11. The train leaving Mendipathar daily at 07-00 hours will reach Guwahati at 11-45 hours and leaving Guwahati at 16-20 hours will reach Mendipathar 20-10 hours.

•    Services of Train No. 05503/05504 Guwahati – Mairabari – Guwahati daily passenger special have been resumed leaving Guwahati from September 11 and leaving Mairabari from September 12. The train leaving Mairabari daily at 04-00 hours will reach Guwahati at 09-25 hours and leaving Guwahati at 17-40 hours will reach Mairabari at 23-15 hours. 
 
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey, stated an update from Guneet Kaur, Chief Public Relations Officer, NF Railway.
