Maligaon, November 9 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has reported a 3.9% growth in freight loading during the current financial year up to October 2025.

A total of 6.390 million tonnes of freight was loaded during this period, compared to 6.150 million tonnes in the corresponding period last year, an official statement informed.

As per the NFR, several commodities registered notable increases in freight movement in October, with cement loading recording  the highest jump at 142.9%, followed by food grains at 71.4%.
